Our 70's themed home is perfect for a solo or couples trip, looking to get away from the regular day-to-day hustle. Rest, recharge your batteries, and enjoy the Florida sunshine during your stay. Spend time in the comfy, but funky living room and dining room area of the home, while catching up on your favorite Netflix shows or playing board games found in the TV console. Cook up a delightful meal in the fully stocked, retro kitchen. When you're ready to take a break from your busy life, curl up under the covers of the spacious queen-sized bed equipped with a comfortable memory foam mattress. The bathrooms provide shampoo and conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and extra towels, everything you need for a perfect stay. The Groovy Getaway offers a dedicated parking spot behind the bungalow. You can also park behind the Groovy Getaway where you'll find a left spot alongside the wall dedicated to guests. To access this, guests should enter through the alleyway behind the home and turn right into one of the two spaces. Walking just a few blocks will take you to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and many other local favorites. A short Uber ride of about five to ten minutes will get you to Busch Gardens, Downtown Tampa, Channelside, Armature Works, Hyde Park, South Tampa, The Port, Tampa International Airport, Lowry Park Zoo, The Aquarium, Raymond James Stadium, Amalie Arena, The Straz Center, and much more. This house is very centrally located. Florida is tropical, and in such an environment, local wildlife, including insects, is frequently encountered. The home is well maintained and treated regularly to reduce bug encounters, but the occasional bug may appear. No refunds will be issued for the occasional dead or live bug. This is a 1920s bungalow and comes with quirks and charm. The washer and dryer are located outside on the back porch of the main house, a shared space with clear signage. Free laundry detergent is provided for your convenience. Use the washer/dryer between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM to respect other guests. Enter with your personal smart lock code sent after booking. Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM. No pets on furniture to prevent smells, stains, and hair. No smoking inside; evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.
