The whole condo rent is about $2800-3000/month. I am renting out one room, plus one bathroom. The condo is on the 25th floor with an amazing view! This condo is facing south and west, and facing to the river, so it gets lots of sunlight, bright and refreshing, plus I have many plants, so you feel closer to nature, gives you good mood everyday. 2. The room is fully-furnished, hotel style, ready to move in, modern design, comfortable queen-size bed with TV in front of the bed, and big window facing the river. Many basic things like bedding etc are all included. Bathroom is right beside this room. (Bedroom and Bathroom are not shared). Kitchen and living room are shared area. We have an in-suite washer and dryer and we have a balcony too, in summer, you can have dinner on the balcony with a beautiful view. 3. Great location. Only 3-5 minutes walk to Skytrain (Expo Line) and walking distance to all the shops (Safeway, Shoppers etc.), restaurants, bars etc. A beautiful water-side broadwalk is right in front of my building. 4. Internet, natural gas are included too, only electricity will be shared. 5. Who you will be sharing: Me and my 4-year old daughter. Our life is very simple, I work at home as a software developer, work is pretty busy, and my daughter goes to daycare. On weekends, only me stay here, so it's a pretty quiet home, as my daughter is still little, we don't need this much space, that's why I am renting out another room. We are very easy-going. 6. Very Important Requirement: -- Must love kids. (My daughter is pretty easy to take care, you rarely see her shouting around or cry, she behaves well and super cute, so ideally I want someone who will enjoy having her around and doesn't mind to play with her too.). -- Clean and quiet. You should be someone who appreciates a clean home, and someone who doesn't party all day or night, and clean common area after you use. -- No drugs or smoking (It's not allowed in the whole building) -- Open-minded and easy-going. We will share the space, ideally we will not just be a roommate, but with friendship in longer time, otherwise it feels strange to live together. -- A working profession who has a career and goals (employment status is required when you confirm renting). Female is preferred as I am a female, but can have exceptions, it really depends. I understand this price for a shared place is a bit high for most people, but this is not a budget home. As I mentioned the whole condo is about 2800-3000/month, and if you rent a one-bedroom condo in our building, it's about 1800/month, and this price does not offer river view either. So I am hoping this is a reasonable price, and I am also hoping to find only the right candidate. Earliest move in date is October 1st, 2021. (possibly earlier, but for now it's October). Rental payment is month-to-month. (Home photos are all real, taken by myself, but the actual view can vary based on weather and seasonal plants.)
