Room A (~125 sqft) is available now, for a lease through May 31, 2026 (can renew for a year or 15-months to get back on the Sept. 1 cycle thereafter). The apartment is a 3BD/1BA on the second floor, see pictures/layout, all utilities included: Features of the apartment: - All utilities included in rent: Electricity, Gas (Heat, Stove), Water, and WiFi (RCN/Astound Gigabit) - Free laundry (wash and dry) in basement with a new dryer and a newer washing machine - Short ~7 minute walk to both Orange Line and Green Line T/subway (Green Line stop new as of October 2021) - Quiet: Minimal car/pedestrian noise since building is behind another building and back from the street; it's nice - Two porches: front and back - Bathroom renovated a few years ago - Wood floors - Security camera on front of building - Private lockable storage room in basement - Small backyard, perfect for small gatherings/grilling - Great view of Boston (pictured) The apartment is ~950 sqft on the second floor of the building, and the room for rent is one of three bedrooms. See the attached picture for the layout of the apartment. The other two roommates are both guys just over 30 years old. One works at Harvard Business School (HBS), and the other works as an EMT. The apartment itself is a short walk to Assembly Row, the East Somerville Green Line Station, and the Sullivan Square Orange Line Station, where you can pick up the Orange Line or numerous buses into the surrounding areas (e.g. Davis, Harvard, Kendall/MIT, Central); see the map in the attached pictures. You can also walk to MIT in 30 minutes. The unit has three bedrooms as well as an efficiently designed kitchen, pantry, and bathroom. The apartment on the first floor has three pleasant folks in a similar living situation to the second floor, and the third floor is rented to a single person.
