Farmers market every Friday and many festivals i.e. Oktoberfest and classic antique auto shows. There are major grocery stores i.e. Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Vons. Also, Crossroads, La Mesa's biggest shopping center is located only 6 blocks away. Grossmont Center with Major shopping retailers is just a 5 minute drive.
