Richland Heights East is an exclusive neighborhood known for it's large lots and mature desert landscape. Located north of Fort Lowell, between Campbell and Tucson Blvd, it is convenient to everything, but a world apart from other central Tucson neighborhoods. The area is 80% owner occupied, so the available rentals are few and far between. Richland Heights East has an active neighborhood watch, as well as an optional association. The wide streets are excellent for walking and biking, and many local restaurants and shopping destinations are within a few blocks distance. This unique home is nicknamed "The Kokopelli House," and a drive past the property will quickly explain this moniker. It's definitely kitchy, and the festive little silhouettes will ensure that all of your guests can easily find this house. Inside the elaborate front fence, a large fountain provides a focal point for the landscaped courtyard, and the shady front porch has an attractive saguaro ribbed ceiling. The house sits on a large 1/3 acre lot, so there is a ton of space on all sides. The north yard is a large parking area, with a single carport and shed. The rear yard has a well-equiped ramada, and the south yard is populated with a grove of mature and productive citrus trees. The house was originally built in 1947, and was one of the first homes in the neighborhood. It has been upgraded and improved over the years, and features a newer central AC system, as well as a modern kitchen and indoor laundry room. The fireplace in the living room is decorative only, but it would be a great spot for candles. 1320 Square Feet Carport and workshop Saltillo tile flooring throughout 3 Bedroom/ 2 Bath Washer and Dryer Dishwasher This is a stand-alone house, with no other rental units on the property. It is very private. Tenant pays all utilities Available immediately! $1295 due at lease signing. This includes a $1045 refundable security deposit, plus a $250 non-refundable cleaning/leasing fee. First month's rent due at move in. We do charge a $40 per person application fee, and all potential tenants must pass a credit, criminal background, and prior eviction screening.
