Our one-bedroom apartment, living room, bath, full kitchen and small foyer, is fully furnished and decorated with the art of friends. The hardwood floors have a lovely golden glow and one deep red wall in the living room creates a deep warmth. The apartment is nicely appointed with midcentury furniture and is at the back of the building eliminating street level noise. It's pretty quiet as far NYC living goes! There is TV with access to Netflix, and wireless internet access. The building is known as a "walk up" meaning there is no elevator. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (two flights up from ground level). There is no laundry service available on site but there are laundromats within one block. The kitchen is full sized and fully stocked with pots and pans, utensils, glasses, coffee cups, coffee maker, soda stream, microwave, 1 shot mocha pot, spices etc. The couch in the living room is a pull-out full-size bed in case you have a guest during your stay. Heating is via radiators and risers. The radiators can be turned on and off. The risers are controlled centrally. Situated in the heart of Chelsea, you will be in close proximity to the Hudson River Conservancy Park, the High Line, the Chelsea Market, the Whitney Museum, the Ruben Museum, thrift and consignment stores, art galleries, the Union Square Farmer's market, great shopping and great dining. We are 1 block from the A, C, E and 1, 2, 3 subway lines and three blocks from the D, F & B line. This is a legal sublet in a middle-income Co-op and has generous income restrictions. For a one person household income may not exceed 165% of the Area Median Income (AMI). For 2020 that is $137,940. For a household of two the income limit is $157,575. Ideally, I am looking for a 4 month rental sometime between November 15th and March 15th. I prefer to rent an individual or a couple who are non-smokers. Smoking in the apartment is not allowed. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Upon lease signing a security deposit equal to one month's rent is due. The first month's rent is due upon receiving keys (usually the day before or day of move in). The security deposit is equal one month's rent. Please apply through Zumper. Upon receipt of your application I will contact you. Should we come to an agreement I will ask the you provide a copy of your 2020 tax return to show proof of income eligibility. Once income eligibility is confirmed, I will send you a link to the sublease agreement.
