FEMALES ONLY!!::!! Great Apartment with amazing amenities. You can check out the amenities online at their website / You can also look at the floor plan online, it's the two bed one bath on the top floor overlooking the pool. The available room is the larger of the two with two closets, one being a walk in closet. You'd share the bathroom. The kitchen and living spaces are very spacious. Great for entertaining if you wish to have a few friends over. The view is really nice especially since this apartment is on the 12th floor. The apartment is furnished and Eva also has pots/pans, silverware, cutting boards, ect but if you have your own things feel free to bring them. About Eva, She is great. She's a very nice pleasant young professional female who likes biking and taking advantage of the outdoors especially since the weather has been awesome! Eva is also a dog lover so if you have one it's not a problem. She enjoys drinking wine and hanging in most nights. She's also very respectful of personal space, half the time I never even know she's here. The rent is $1,194 monthly per person and does not include utilities which are about an extra $90 per month per person and is due at the first of every month. The lease term would be from move in date through September 30th of this year. It's perfect for someone who just moved to the area and needs some time to get the place figured out before settling into a long term lease of their own. I plan to pay rent for June so the only thing that would be required from you upon move in would be the $500 roommate change fee and $60 application fee. There may also be a security deposit which you would be responsible for. You would be expected to pay rent beginning July 1st although you will be responsible for signing the lease prior to move in. There is at least a 3 day turnaround required before move in. This is about how long it takes for your application to become approved and management to transfer the lease. Hey there, If you are a girl looking for an affordable, large (and really sunny) single room in a fancy apartment building with pool, gym, lounge (free coffee!) and more- this is for you! I am moving out of the country and need someone to take my room. First of all, availability: will be available on MARCH 25. The lease goes up to July, and there is a potential for renewing the lease. Location: 5 minute walk to the Crystal City metro station. The apartment has an underground tunnel to the metro with shops and cafes, so you don't have to walk outside on a cold and/or rainy day. Third, utilities: utilities are not included, but really not bad (on average $60 dollars per month) Girls: two of the girls are master's students at GW from China, and the third girl is a professional in her 20-s working in downtown DC. They are very sweet and friendly. If time permits, we like to hang out and enjoy a meal together, but all of us have busy schedules and pretty much separate lives. IMPORTANT: the reason why this room is so cheap for its amazing location and nice apartment building is that the living room is converted into a bedroom and two of the girls are sharing it. I find it totally fine and the girls don't mind us walking to the kitchen even at late night. But if it is a deal-breaker for you, this post would probably not suit your interest. Furniture: I do have a bed, a desk, and a few other furniture in my room and would be happy to negotiate. Parking: we do have one free parking spot as of now, which the apartment can use. Currently, none of us have a car, so it's all yours. However, if someone else gets a car in the apartment, a small fee might be split between the two car owners. Landry: washer and drier machines with comfortable waiting area are located in the building right next to the gym. Lastly, bathrooms: we have two bathrooms in the apartment, one in master bedroom, and the second one is shared by the three of us. Our bathroom situation works great, but in time of need you can always ask the girl in master bedroom to let you use hers. We have a pretty nice community here. Here's how it goes: Step one: please email me first to express your interest. Step two: we will talk on the phone to make sure that the room fits your interest. Step three: if you are still interested, we will schedule a time for you to see the room (I work two jobs and do not have time for not serious inquiries). Good luck with the apartment search!
