About 1400 N Jackson St
My roommate and I are looking for a female roommate to move into our house (see pictures) located a few minutes' walk from the Clarendon metro stop in Arlington. The house is tucked away in a residential neighborhood, but we're a short walk from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Giant, Farmer's Markets and all of Clarendon's restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. If you work in D.C. the location is super convenient and only 4 stops to Dupont Circle. The house was built in 1904 and it is charming. We always get compliments when we entertain. Also, the rent is practically unbeatable for the location and set-up. You would furnish the bedroom pictured (10.5'x13') but we are okay on the rest of the furniture. Street parking is available with a residential zone pass and some passes to give to visitors when it is before 6 on a weekday--the only time street parking is regulated. The rent is $675 and utilities range between $150 to 250 per month per person (gas heating, cable, internet, electric bill, water, and a monthly cleaning service). Preference is given to someone available to meet with us during the week (except for October 6-13) and able to move in November 1st or around that time. We are hoping for a one year commitment, but the lease is technically month-to-month. Please tell us about yourself in your reply so we can have an idea of who is responding and what your current situation is.
