The room is available starting April 1st, 2017, but if you plan on moving in, in April, you will be subletting from myself for 2 months until the 12 month lease renewal on May 31st, 2017. So this property is part of a "gated" (I say gated because one of the entrances has a gate) community about 3 blocks from King St in Old Town Alexandria. The property is about a .5 mile walk to the King St metro station. Parking is available and included in the rent. The condo is fully furnished with the exception of the available room. (The last roommate left a desk and book shelf in the room) There is really not much space for storage of things outside of what you would need in your bedroom. The property includes a washer and dryer in the condo. The available room has a full bathroom and there is a half bath downstairs. There is a patio outside with a grill. Every room is shared with the exception of you bedroom and bathroom. There is AC and forced air heating. I am a professional working in DC, and my girlfriend is moving in, in May.
