Originally built as an apartment hotel, the Sovereign has undergone a full renovation completed to restore the details and luster that was original in this 1922 beauty. Each studio has been meticulously styled with new cabinetry, quartz counters, stainless steel appliances and warm lighting. The plank styled flooring is complimented by warm paint tones and unique window treatments. You'll notice the spacious living areas and the soaring 9 foot ceilings; well lit by the French door windows that open to the balconettes. Much has been updated; but the restyling only enhances the Circa 1922 features such as subway tile, deep tubs and coin flooring tile. Pedestal sinks are in keeping with the style of the original china sinks. Many of these studios feature dressing rooms with the original armoires built in to provide a generous space for your wardrobe. WiFi is provided to each resident. With apartments starting on the 5th floor of the building and rising to the 9th, each studio has an aerie view of downtown Portland. The lights of the theatre district up Broadway are scintilating at night. Overlooking the ornate steeple to the north is reminiscent of architecture in many cities of Europe.
