This 1996 mother-in-law unit is completely autonomous to the main house except for the shared laundry facility in the hallway between the two units. There is no noise penetration so you can be assured of quiet. The available unit is the one on the left in the photos. Located in the desirable Shorewood neighborhood of Burien, you will be close to the water as well as Westwood Village, Ambaum Ave., I405, Hwy. 509, and Shorewood Elementary School. This house is set off from the street, providing privacy as well as security. There are two outdoor parking spots. This duplex unit shares the washer/dryer and furnace with the house next to it. Past the front door is a wheelchair-accessible ramp up to the main floor. The living room has vaulted ceilings, plush carpet, and a gas fireplace. Above the gas fireplace is a huge, framed mirror which makes the space even more spacious. Around the corner is the kitchen with eating area. The kitchen is equipped with portable microwave, dishwasher, gas range, refrigerator, and disposal. There is plenty of counter space and cabinetry to make your meal prep a breeze. Off the kitchen is a sliding glass door that opens to a peaceful deck and the private backyard. The storage sheds in the backyard are NOT available. The two bedrooms are served by a large 3/4 bath with shower (but no tub). Again it is a very spacious bathroom with hand rails. The master bedroom is much larger than average while the other bedroom is slightly smaller than average. At the end of the hallway is a door that leads to a hallway where the washer and dryer are shared with the occupants next door. Along the hallway are closets providing ample storage. Other amenities: 2 off-street parking spots; built-in fire sprinkler system; vaulted ceilings; new carpet; mini-blinds; no yard work; all utilities paid by others (except cable). Terms: 6-month lease converts to month-to-month. $1,000 security deposit; $200 admin fee; $40/adult app fee; $225/mo. utility surcharge. Last month's rent deposit staged over 4 months to ease the burden. No pets. No Sec. 8. Smoking outside only.
