The house is about 1,295 sq. feet, not counting the back room. The house (minus tiled kitchen) has all wood floors, and an open floor plan. There's a separate laundry room, too. We have 2 kids (1 & 3 years old) and have been very happy with the space. There's a small front yard with a large willow tree, a nice big backyard with two beautiful Redwood trees, lampposts surrounding a grass lawn, a partially covered deck and lots of running around space, grass, plants, trees. We have been working on the back yard to add native plants and expand the space for lounging/running/playing. We have cool/nice, not-fussy neighbors. The neighborhood is very welcoming, with parents and kids coming and going from the elementary school 2 blocks away. We are gradually improving the house, and you will see significant improvements before September. We have put in a new fence, and we will re-roof and re-paint the outside before September. This is a family home (we, the owners, live here currently), and we want to keep it in good shape. Located in Friendly Acres, in Redwood City. Walking distance from Marsh Manor shopping center, with a Starbucks, nice grocery store (Delucchis), brunch place (squeeze in), pub, ice-cream shop, taqueria, dry cleaning, and more, with Thursday night music nights during the summer. Close to multiple playgrounds. Easy access to 101, 8 minute drive from Facebook, 8 blocks from the new Stanford Redwood City campus.
