This fully restored 1958 home offers a comfortable stay for up to 13 guests. This home features a private swimming pool with a tanning ledge, an outdoor oasis with a covered patio, an outdoor kitchen with a grill, and an indoor pool table. Inside, you'll find 5 cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds, 3 well-appointed bathrooms with essentials provided, and a spacious kitchen equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and dinnerware. Driveway parking accommodates 4 vehicles, with additional street parking available. Conveniently located just 10 miles from downtown Houston, this home is a short half-mile from I-10, providing easy access to major destinations including the Houston Ship Channel and a variety of restaurants. The neighborhood, built in the late 1950s, is surrounded by commercial areas, and while the main road may see industrial traffic due to nearby refineries, this home offers a comfortable retreat. Please be aware that this is an older neighborhood, and while this home has been updated, some surrounding houses may still be in their original condition. Due to the proximity to industrial areas, you may encounter large trucks on the main road. Leaves may fall during Fall and Spring seasons, potentially covering the pool. Outdoor furniture may have dust on it due to rain and wind. Check-out is at 11 AM, with a mandatory $100 fee per hour for unauthorized overstays. Early check-in before 11 AM may be possible for a $200 fee, and late check-out after 11 AM is charged $50/hr. Guests use the pool and bunk beds at their own risk. In Houston's humid and warm weather, there are no refunds if pest activity is seen, as regular pest control is performed. Pets are not allowed on beds and furniture; if hair is found, linens will be replaced and charged. The pool depth reaches 9 ft in the deep end; no diving is allowed, and children and non-swimmers must be supervised. Do not put food and drinks on the pool table. The host is not responsible for any packages ordered by guests. No extra guests are allowed in the house or pool without being added to the guest count before booking, and extra guests will be charged. No parties or events are allowed, though some soft events or gatherings can be permitted with a $500 gathering fee and a $500 refundable security deposit. No loud music or gatherings are permitted outside on the pool or patio after 10 pm.
