About 51

Home

Alexander, NC 28701, USA

Set on a private hilltop roughly ten miles from downtown Asheville, this custom craftsman home captures sweeping, long-range Blue Ridge Mountain views from nearly every room. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the ridgelines, and the forested grounds — shared with just one neighboring residence — give the property a quiet, secluded feel that is genuinely rare in the Western North Carolina rental market. Inside, the home is finished with vaulted and coffered ceilings and hardwood floors throughout, with tile in the bathrooms. The great room features a built-in library wall and encompasses a kitchen with warm wood cabinets and granite counters stretched along a peninsula, outfitted with a stainless side-by-side refrigerator with built-in ice maker, electric range, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal, with a dining nook alongside and a walk-in pantry for storage. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms — each anchoring its own wing. The primary suite spans the left wing, takes in the mountain views, and opens directly to the screened porch, with an en-suite bath featuring a frameless glass shower and double opposing vanities set in granite. The second suite occupies the right wing, with a shared bathroom and two adjoining flexible rooms that make ideal home offices or dens — one with mountain views off the bedroom, and another with its own private entrance. A third flexible room off the living room, also with mountain views, rounds out the spaces that can flex to work, hobbies, or quiet retreat. A full-size washer and dryer are included in a dedicated laundry room. Outdoors, the screened porch and an open cable-rail deck stretch toward the view, perfect for taking in the mountains in any season. A whole-property propane backup generator and private well provide dependable utility resilience. The gravel drive offers driveway parking on the home's private acreage. Internet service is available through Skyrunner or Starlink, with Starlink offering the fastest and most reliable connection. All utilities are tenant responsibility. Landscaping and lawn maintenance services are included. This property is pet-friendly, up to two pets, with a $250 refundable deposit per pet. Sorry, this property does not accept co-signers.
