Feel at home in the Lassen Red Barn, a charming mountain cabin centrally located just minutes away from Lassen National Park. This two-bedroom home offers a spacious open-concept living and dining area, along with a fully stocked kitchen, providing an ideal base to unwind, relax, and explore all that the North State has to offer. Thoughtfully refreshed with warm, modern furnishings while retaining its original charm, this cabin features a cozy sectional, a wood-burning stove, and a 65" Frame Smart TV in the living area. A dining area comfortably seats five. Enjoy nostalgic fun with two vintage arcade machines packed with favorites like Pac-Man, Galaga, and NBA Jam, or sink into your favorite tunes at the listening station with a Crosley record player, vintage records, and a Bluetooth speaker. Admire the unique cedar wood paneling throughout. The primary bedroom boasts a luxuriously plush king-sized bed with premium linens, cloud-like pillows, an oversized duvet, a charming reading nook, and a 50" smart Roku TV. The bunk bedroom features a bunk with a full and twin-sized bed, a pouf for lounging, and an electric fireplace. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including dishware, cookware, baking sheets, wine glasses, essential utensils, and a coffee bar complete with a drip coffee maker, French Press, coffee grinder, and hot water boiler. Outside, a private four-person jetted hot tub awaits beneath a blanket of stars, and the property includes a fully fenced half-acre yard. Centrally located, this home is just minutes away from Lassen National Park, offering access to world-class hiking, adventuring, and fishing. It's the perfect spot to explore all that the North State has to offer. Cell service is limited in this area, but high-speed Wi-Fi is available, though service may be impacted during a heavy snow storm. The initial entry to the cabin is through the bathroom, but sliding glass doors at the front of the cabin are accessible throughout your stay. While the property is fully fenced, a friendly neighborhood dog named Koda may be seen around; guests are asked not to let him inside or feed him. Guests are asked to take off shoes when indoors to help keep the carpets clean. If traveling with a pet, they are not allowed on any furniture including beds. Late checkout without prior approval may incur a $35 per hour charge. If the hot tub requires excessive cleaning or a drain, guests agree to pay $250. The bunk bedroom includes a retro table perfect for remote work or study. Thoughtful touches are included to make you feel instantly at home, such as an Alexa, heating and cooling with a mini-split downstairs and electric fireplaces in each bedroom, firewood and kindling for the wood-burning stove, classic board games like Battleship, Clue, and Taboo, a high-quality record player with a vintage record collection, retro arcade games to relive the 80s and 90s, cozy throws and pillows, two sets of yoga mats, and two sets of snowshoes to explore nearby Lassen or Eskimo Hill.
