Just a short 2-3 minute walk to the beautiful white sand beach, this unit is located in a quiet residential area on the island. Feel at home in this coastal retreat with farmhouse-style elegance. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a large French door fridge with an ice maker and freezer, a marble breakfast bar, and a variety of cookware and spices. The living room offers comfortable seating, a 65" smart TV, and Netflix and Spectrum cable. One bedroom features a king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress, a walk-in closet, and a smart TV, while the other has a queen-size Bed-Tech memory foam mattress, closet, and smart TV. The bathroom has a shower, and there's a Samsung washer and dryer set available for your use. This home also features a premium RainSoft whole-house water filtration system. The property has an EV charger available in a designated parking space, but usage requires payment. Parking is first-come, first-served, so availability is not guaranteed. Located in a quiet neighborhood between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico, this apartment is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk that goes directly to the Gulf of Mexico's sugar-white warm sandy beach and the intercostal waterway near the Brooks Bridge. The Santa Rosa Sound is a minute or two on the opposite side, also connected to the boardwalk. Okaloosa Island is known for less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 min from Destin depending on traffic. This neighborhood is located near restaurants and bars. Guests can get around Okaloosa Island by car, bike, or on foot. There are also several local shuttle services available for transportation to nearby attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier is within walking distance. Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, and fish. The space is treated regularly for pests; however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, or termites. During storms, insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. The property is located very close to the water and snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks. Swimming in the bay has a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk. If any sign or smell of smoke is encountered, a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee will be charged. Includes a spacious aviator desk and chair. The backyard leads to the boardwalk. The secondary unit in back is not accessible during your stay. It is a separate rental unit. This property is equipped with a Minut Smart Home Sensor that monitors noise levels, temperature, humidity, and motion near the entry.
