Feel at home in this recently renovated unit. This apartment is tastefully decorated and equipped with all the amenities you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with a 55" smart TV, and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig, full-size fridge, stove, and microwave. The apartment also features a washer and dryer for added convenience. Relax in the living room with speedy Wi-Fi, or enjoy a good night's sleep in the bedroom with a television. As a guest, you will have access to the outdoor swimming pool and barbecue area. Free parking is available on the premises. With the Gulf of Mexico's white sand beaches just steps away and Beach Access #1 right next door, you'll have easy access to sun, surf, and sand. Save money on transportation and enjoy the local entertainment, with restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and the pier just steps away. The boardwalk is also close by, perfect for a relaxing evening walk to view the Santa Rosa Sound. Stewby's Restaurant and Market is right next door, and AJ's Oyster Bar offers live music and happy hour deals. Putt Putt Golf and Ice Cream is just a short walk away. The beach is a 2-minute walk following the boardwalk across the street. This property is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk that goes directly to the Gulf of Mexico's beautiful sugar-white warm sandy beach and the intercoastal waterway near the Brooks Bridge. The Santa Rosa Sound is a minute or two on the opposite side, also connected to the boardwalk. Okaloosa Island is known for less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 minutes from Destin depending on traffic. This neighborhood is centrally located near restaurants and bars. You can get around Okaloosa Island by car, bike, or on foot. There are also several local shuttle services available for transportation to nearby attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier is within walking distance and offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. The second room, the "bunk room", is only 1/2 a room and consists of bunk beds, making it best suited for children. There is no lifeguard on duty at the beach and guests swim at their own risk. You may need to bring your own beach towels and personal hygiene items. Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, and fish. The space is treated regularly for pests; however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, or termites. During storms, insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. The property is located very close to the water, and snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks.
