Designed for real living, this home features a full kitchen that is solid and ready for you to cook, serve, and stay a while. The living room is a cozy space with an electric fireplace to take the edge off and keep you comfortable. Thoughtful décor creates a relaxed atmosphere. After a day of sun and salt, enjoy games, puzzles, and books inside. The entire home, deck, downstairs patio, and hot tub are yours to use. A hot tub waits under the open coastal sky. Parking is available on the driveway; do not park under the house and be careful not to hit the pilings. The Caplen area of Gilchrist offers a quieter, more laid-back side of the Bolivar Peninsula, perfect for guests seeking to escape the crowds of Crystal Beach while staying close to amenities. This part of the peninsula is known for its low traffic, open space, and relaxed coastal feel, with beaches that are less crowded and homes that are more spread out. The beach here is wide, drivable, and easy to access, ideal for long walks or fishing. While the area is quiet, you're just a short 10–15 minute drive from Crystal Beach, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and local shops. Getting around is simple, with easy roads and light traffic. The beach itself is drivable with a beach parking permit, and golf carts are also a popular way to get around. No smoking or illegal activity is permitted. Quiet hours are observed at night to respect neighbors. Only flush toilet paper and do not flush wipes or hygiene products. Do not put grease down drains. Accidents happen, but damage due to misuse may result in charges. Use all amenities at your own risk, and swim at your own risk as there are no lifeguards on nearby beaches. We are not responsible for injuries or lost items. Evacuation due to storms will result in refunded or credited nights. Hot tub rules include no glass, rinsing before entering, a maximum temperature of 104°F, limiting use to 15–20 minutes at a time, supervised children, no jumping or rough play, and no soap or additives. Put the cover back on after use and do not sit or stand on it. Do not use the hot tub during storms or lightning. A $100 fee will be applied if the water becomes dirty due to misuse.
