This restored Catskills home offers a thoughtfully curated interior with soaring cathedral ceilings and original chestnut beams. Gather around the wood stove for cozy evenings, or enjoy the outdoor living spaces, including a front porch and back deck designed for dining and lounging, and a covered balcony with mountain sunset views. The home features fast WiFi and strong cell service. A ski workshop is available for storage and tune-ups. A vehicle is necessary to get around as there is no or limited Uber or transportation services in the area. There is no street parking allowed between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM from November 1 through April 1. Located in one of the Catskills’ most walkable villages, Hÿgge Haus is steps from shops, cafés, and everyday essentials. Enjoy easy access to surrounding Catskills towns and ski areas, with Belleayre Ski Center just 14 minutes away and Plattekill Ski Center 19 minutes away. The property is also close to hiking trails, swimming holes, and seasonal events. Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No parties or events are allowed, and guest count must match the reservation. Daytime visitors require prior approval. No pets are allowed. No outdoor water games, sprinklers, slip and slides, or kiddie pools are permitted. Flush toilet paper only. Guests should be aware of active wildlife in the rural Catskills setting.
