This cozy retreat sleeps 2 guests and offers a peaceful escape to reconnect with nature. The cabin features a kitchenette with a one-burner butane camping stove, cookware, dishware, and a Bodum pour-over coffee maker. Enjoy solar lighting throughout the cabin and a Jotul wood stove for warmth on cooler nights. A space heater is available as a backup. Linens, towels, and blankets are provided, along with kitchen essentials, games, books, sketchpads, and yoga mats. This is a dog-friendly property, with one well-behaved dog allowed with prior approval and a fee. Please note that there is no refrigerator or freezer, but a Yeti cooler is provided (guests must bring ice). This secluded property offers direct access to hiking and nature, with a peaceful forest setting. It's a short drive to nearby Catskills towns, farms, and dining options, with several popular restaurants and shops within a 10-mile radius. This is a semi off-grid cabin with no indoor plumbing or running water. Fresh water jugs are provided for drinking, cooking, and washing dishes. An outdoor solar shower is available, weather permitting. The outhouse is located approximately 20 feet from the cabin. The loft, where the full-size bed is located, has a low ceiling of about 3 feet and is accessed by a ladder, making it unsuitable for small children or infants. Guests should be comfortable with off-grid living. There are no curtains in the cabin, so a sleep mask is recommended for those sensitive to morning light. Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No parties or events are allowed, and the guest count must match the reservation. Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin. Commercial filming and photography are allowed with prior approval and an additional fee. Winter travel requires 4WD or AWD vehicles due to the uphill driveway and potential for snow.
