Please note that if you're too tall, your head might scrape the ceiling. It’s the lower unit of the house, meaning there’s a full four-bedroom home above you. There is a securely locked door (deadbolt, no access either way), so you’re totally private and safe with a separate entrance. This apartment features a cozy bedroom with a bed and a projector, a private full bathroom, a comfy sofa and a smart TV in the living room, a dining area, and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. There is no kitchen, stove, or oven. Wall heaters are provided, but there is no individual climate control in this unit. Pets are welcome for an additional fee; please inquire before booking. The apartment is conveniently located just a few minutes from major roads like Columbia Pike, Glebe Road, and Route 50, making it easy to reach Washington DC, the Pentagon, and surrounding areas by car. The neighborhood offers good access to public transit (bus lines) and is within easy reach of central Arlington and Washington, D.C. Penrose is a mostly residential neighborhood with sidewalks, a dog-friendly atmosphere, and local amenities within walking distance. Within walking or quick transit distance you’ll find restaurants, grocery stores, and everyday necessities. The neighborhood is well connected by Metrobus routes, including the 16-line buses that run along Columbia Pike, providing quick access to Pentagon City, Crystal City, and downtown DC. The closest Metro stations are Pentagon City and Ballston-MU, both about a 10–15-minute drive or short bus ride away. Penrose is a very walkable and bike-friendly neighborhood with sidewalks and quiet residential streets. You can easily walk to nearby cafes, restaurants, and parks. There are also Capital Bikeshare stations nearby for guests who prefer to explore by bike. Uber and Lyft are widely available and usually arrive within minutes. If you plan to explore beyond Arlington or take day trips, car rentals are also convenient and nearby. The upper floor is rented separately, so you might hear a little noise sometimes. Meetings, parties, events, or celebrations are not permitted. Guests not included in the reservation are not permitted. ID or identity verification may be required prior to check-in.
