Famed architect Julius Böckel's LES 1879 historical building was given a second life as an award-winning stately residence by artist Randy Settenbrino. The apartment has been highlighted as one of the top 150 hotels in the Western Hemisphere by National Geographic, a #1 boutique hotel by NY Magazine, a #1 boutique hotel by Citysearch, and Rizzoli’s Best 100 Little Hotels by Alan Sperry. There is no parking at the property, and everything you could want is a short walk or rideshare away. The apartment is located at 100 Orchard, between Broome and Delancey, opposite the famed Tenement Museum, AKA 57 and 5th of the historic Lower East Side. It is one for the romantics and artisans with its stylized rooms providing a unique and whimsical New York City stay. This unit allows 4 overnight guests. However, in compliance with city regulations, there cannot be more than 4 people inside the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction. The property has a strict no-party policy. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit. Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit, and there will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period. Guests named on the reservation must be 18 years or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay. Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 11am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply. For security reasons, there are audio/video recording cameras in the common areas of the building and outside of the building. There are no recording devices inside the unit.
