Feel at home in this lovely ground floor apartment that features wonderful large windows in all of the rooms and has all of the quirky charm that vintage buildings offer. The location literally can't be beat. I've used my years of experience as a superhost and designer to set up this unique flat so that it includes all the comforts of home while embracing the quirky charm that only a vintage building can offer. Parking isn't included and the streets around us are all either permitted (local residents only) or metered, so make sure not to use those spots. For the easiest parking, we highly recommend using a service called SpotHero to reserve a spot nearby before you arrive. During your stay as my guest, you receive a free membership to The Metropolitan, a members-only club and co-working space located on the 66th and 67th floors of the Willis Tower (for reservations less than 14 days only). Included with your membership are upscale co-working space, dining, bars and stunning views of Chicago and Lake Michigan. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from Wrigley Field, the bustling Southport shopping corridor, and both the red line and brown line subway stations. It's about a 10-minute walk to all of the 'Boystown' nightlife. Although shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. Any point of interest in Chicago can easily be reached by walking, public transit, or Uber. Wrigley Field & Wrigleyville are a 4-minute walk, Southport Corridor is a 5-minute walk, Music Box Theater is a 10-minute walk, Metro Theatre is a 6-minute walk, Boystown is a 13-minute walk or 5 min via public transit, Lakefront Trail & Belmont Harbor is 8 min via public transit or driving, Lincoln Park Zoo is 20 min via public transit or 12-min drive and Downtown is 20 min via public transit or 16-min drive. Southport 'L' train stop (Brown line) is an 8-minute walk, Addison 'L' train stop (Red/Brown lines) is a 7-minute walk, O'Hare is 50 min via public transit or ~35 min drive and Midway is 65 min via public transit or ~45 min drive. Because my flat is located in a 100+ year-old urban building on the ground floor, you may occasionally find an errant cobweb or two, in spite of my hardworking staff's best efforts. They clean the flat several times a week but you may still see the work of an enterprising critter pop up during your stay. You may also occasionally hear some noise from my neighbors or passersby. There is no smoking of any kind in the apartment, and your reservation will be automatically and immediately cancelled if there is any smoking reported. There will also be an automatic $500 cleaning fee if there is any smoke smell inside of the apartment. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. There is an automatic $100 late check-out charge if you're still in the property 20 minutes after check-out. There is a $45 fee if you if you lock yourself out or lose your key. Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and check-out ends at 11 a.m.
