Welcome to Bulldog Farmhouse, a remarkable historic home nestled in the heart of Athens, Georgia, the vibrant city known as the home of UGA football. This farmhouse is ideally situated in close proximity to the University of Georgia, making it a perfect base for sports enthusiasts to soak up the game-day atmosphere and immerse themselves in the proud traditions of UGA football. The farmhouse sits on almost an acre of land, offering a peaceful and private environment right in town. This historic farmhouse is a rare gem, bright, spacious, and completely renovated. It features two living rooms with huge flat-screen TVs and sound systems, a dining area that seats eight, and a fully equipped kitchen with all basic necessities. The farmhouse sleeps ten guests comfortably across three bedrooms and two cozy rooms for entertaining. Almost every room is equipped with a huge flat-screen TV and sound system, providing the perfect way to relax and watch football games. The farmhouse offers a long driveway and ample parking for all your guests. Pets are welcome on the premises with a pet fee of $75, and you must inform us in advance to secure authorization for bringing a pet. You are required to clean up after your pet to avoid additional charges. The house is conveniently located close to everything Athens has to offer, including UGA, great music, bars, movie theaters, food, and entertainment. Nearby attractions include Downtown Watkinsville (2.0 miles), Sanford Stadium (4.2 miles), Beechwood Shopping Center (6.8 miles), DePalma's Italian Cafe (4.5 miles), Five & Ten (3.8 miles), The Treehouse Market (5.3 miles), University of Georgia Golf Course (3.7 miles), Sandy Creek Park (11.4 miles), and Athens Memorial Park (3.9 miles). Having a car is recommended, but there is also a nearby bus route that loops around Athens, and Uber and Lyft are very accessible. The house has outside security cameras only. Smoking is not allowed, and pets are not permitted without prior authorization. We subscribe to a monthly pest and mosquito service, but depending on the time of year and weather conditions, we cannot guarantee a bug-free environment.
