Explore the nearby Eastern Market and Detroit Institute of Arts, or take a stroll through the charming historic district. The apartment is also conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to get around the city. It is 6 minutes from Downtown Detroit, 2 minutes from the DMC and University, 2 minutes from Wayne State, 4 minutes from Ford Field, and 1 mile from the Cultural Center. Access the building through the main entrances and be respectful of the home and community. Friends are welcome, but maintain noise and light discipline at all times. The home is not baby-proofed and may not be ideal for families with small children, but children are welcome at your discretion. Check-out time is 11 am unless otherwise approved. There is a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside or outside on the patio, balcony, parking lot, or within 50ft of the property, with a fine of $300 for violations. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, with a fine of $500 for violations. Unauthorized pets incur a $250 fee. Missing or damaged items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $300. Towels and linens should be kept in good condition, and guests should not wash comforters or duvet comforters themselves. Breaking house rules can result in a fine of up to $1000 and/or eviction. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, and noise can transfer easily to neighbors through walls and floors.
