The home is on Cary/Morrisville Historical Designation, belonging to a row of homes starting from the Carpenter Upchurch road to Morrisville Carpenter intersection, including the Carpenter Farm Supply Store. The homes and store retain their original façade and construction, offering a glimpse into the past. Check-in is any time after 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. A late check-out without authorization will lead to a night-rate cost penalty. Parties are fully prohibited and quiet time is from 10 PM to 6 AM. There is a $300 penalty for smoking on the property, and you will be dismissed from your rental without a refund. A $250 penalty applies if noise levels, parties, or other obscene behavior require a police callout, and you will be dismissed from the property without a refund. Damage to the interior of the property or common areas will result in a pro-rated auto-chargeback from your booking account. On checkout, please turn off the lights, the A/C unit, water, and gas/stove, and lock the door behind you. Penalties will automatically be withdrawn from your booking account. The home is on well water and septic sewer, so place waste condiments into the trash bin provided and do not place them in the toilet. Roll trash receptacles to the curb Tuesday evening if you are staying overnight through Wednesday of that week. Set the thermostat to 80 degrees (summer) or 65 (winter). Be prepared to be charmed by the past, as not much has changed since the 20’s.
