The Zumper Portlandย Metro Report analyzed active listings inย January across 13 metro citiesย to showย the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Oregon state median rent last month was $1,024.

The Most Expensive

โ€“Portland, ORย remained the most expensive city in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $1,330.

โ€“Gladstone, ORย movedย 2 spots to rank as the second priciest city with rent at $1,250.

โ€“Happy Valleyย &ย Tualatin, ORย tied for third both with prices at $1,240.

The Least Expensive

โ€“Forest Grove, ORย continued to rank as the most affordable city with rent at $890.

โ€“Oregon City, OR, only $80 more at $970, was the second least expensive city.

โ€“ย Greshamย &ย Tigard, ORย tied for third with rents at an even $1,000.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

โ€“Gladstone, ORย rent had the largest year over year growth rate, climbing 13.6%.

Oregon City, ORย was second with one bedrooms growing 9%.

Happy Valley, ORย followed closely behind as third with rent up 8.8%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

Tualatin, ORย had the fastest growing rent last month, jumping 5.1%.
