This Zumper Market Demand Report studied several thousand emails and calls (inquiries) to rental properties in Austin to determine renter interest.

Generating 45% of inquiries this month, two bedroom units dominated market interest with a median inquiry price of $1,250. Close behind, one bedroom units produced 36% of inquiries with a median of $950. Studios came in as the third most in demand bedroom type, generating 11% of all calls and messages with a median of $885.
Three and four bedroom units had the least amount of inquiries sent this February. Three bedroom units generated 5% of inquiries with a median of $885, while three bedroom units generated 5% of inquiries with a median of $1,550.

North University and West University are tied for the most in demand Austin neighborhoods for renters this month. Both produced 11% more leads than the next most in demand neighborhood, Hyde Park.
Méthodologie
