To help interested renters move to Seattle, we studied several thousand emails and calls, also known as inquiries, sent to rental properties last month to identify the most popular neighborhoods and bedroom types.

3. Lower Queen Anne
4. University District
5. South-Lake Union
6. Adams
7. Central Business District
8. Wallingford

Situé en plein centre-ville Broadway, also known as Capitol Hill, is Seattle’s most in demand neighborhood, sending 11% more inquiries last month than ultra hip Belltown, the second most inquired about area. Student rich neighborhoods University District and Minor also made it on this list of most sought after rental areas.

Producing 31% of all inquiries, one bedroom units received the most renter interest this month at a median inquiry price of $1,500. Studios were the second most in demand, generating 25% of inquiries at a median of $1,350. Two bedroom units followed suit with 20% of inquiries at $2,010.
Three and four bedroom units were the least sought after bedroom types. Three bedroom units generated 16% of inquiries at a median of $2,650, while four bedroom units produced 8% of inquiries at $3,000.
Méthodologie
The Zumper Neighborhood Report analyzes every call and email sent in a month to determine renter interest. Neighborhoods are ranked by total inquiries generated to determine the top 10 most in demand areas. Inquiries are also separated into bedroom type, along with each corresponding median inquiry price, to provide the most in-demand bedroom units and prices.
