See The Cheapest And Most Expensive Charlotte Neighborhoods To Rent This Summer

Charlotte remained the 21st most expensive market in the country this summer, as one bedrooms rose 2.1% in the past quarter to a median of $980. In the same period, two bedrooms saw slight 0.9% increase to settle at $1,100. Such increases have positioned the city ahead of Houston, Sacramento, and Virginia Beach on our list of rent prices across the 50 largest metro regions in the United States.
Prices in the city have risen 8.9% for one bedrooms in the past year, and similarly up 10% for two bedrooms.
Charlotte-Summer-2015Looking closer at the heat map, the most expensive areas to rent continued to be located around Third Ward ($1,500), Brookhill ($1,310), and Myers Park ($1,290). More affordable areas were found toward the north and southwest, with neighborhoods such as Smallwood, Arbor Glen, and Westover Hills asking in the low to mid $500’s for a one bedroom.
