Cities Ranked By Rent

The Most Expensive
–San Francisco, Californie saw rent reach an all time high of $3,690, keeping it as the priciest city.
–Mountain View, CA stayed the second most expensive with rent at $3,450.
–Palo Alto, CA saw rent drop $80 to $3,230 but remain third.
The Least Expensive
–Vallejo, CA saw rent jump $70 to $1,390 but continue to rank as the most affordable city.
–Napa, CA dropped below Santa Rosa to become the second least expensive city with rent decreasing $60 to $1,600.
–Santa Rosa, CA moved ahead of Napa to rank as third with rent climbing $80 to $1,730.
Growth Rate
The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
–Palo Alto & Redwood City, CA tied for the city with the fastest growing rent, both up 15.8% since this time last year.
–Sunnyvale, CA saw rent jump 12.7%, making it second.
–Santa Clara, CA rent had the third largest year over year growth rate, climbing 11.7%.
The Fastest Growing (M/M%)
–Vallejo, CA had the fastest growing rent last month, up 5.3%.
–Berkeley, CA followed closely behind as second with rent growing 5.2% last month.
–Alameda, CA was third with rent jumping 4.9%.
