San Francisco Bay Area Metro Report: November 2018

The Zumper SF Bay Area Metro Report analyzed active listings in October across 30 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The California one bedroom median rent last month was $1,755.

The Most Expensive

San Francisco, Californie was the most expensive city in the metro with one bedrooms priced at $3,620.

Mountain View, CA started to inch closer and closer to San Francisco with rent at $3,600.

Redwood City, CA ranked as third with rent at $3,110.

The Least Expensive

Vallejo, CA had the most affordable rent in the metro at $1,380.

Santa Rosa, CA one bedroom rent was $1,680, making it the second least expensive.

Napa, CA followed closely as third with rent at $1,720.

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Mountain View & Santa Clara, CA tied for the city with the fastest growing rent, both with one bedrooms climbing a staggering 15.8% since this time last year.

Redwood City, CA saw rent climb 15.6% since this time last year, making it the second fastest growing.

Napa, CA was third with rent up 15.4%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

Vallejo, CA had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 5.3%.

Burlingame, CA rent was the second fastest growing, climbing 4.9% since this time last month.

Emeryville, CA was third with rent jumping 4.8%. SFBayNov
