Cities Ranked By Rent
Most Expensive
– Hillsboro, OR outpaced Portland this month to become the most expensive city to rent in the metro. The price of one bedroom units here grew $10 to $1,370.
– Portland, Oregon rent dropped $20, to $1,340, this month and one spot to rank as the second priciest city.
– Gladstone & Lake Oswego, OR were tied for the third most expensive city with rents at $1,250.
Least Expensive
– Oregon City, OR was the least expensive city to rent. The median price for one bedroom units was $960.
– Tigard, OR, just $30 more than Oregon City, was the second least expensive city. Rent here was $990.
– Gresham, OR was the third most affordable city with median rent at $1,010.
Growth Rate
Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)
– Gladstone, OR had the largest yearly growth rate, up 14.7%.
– Milwaukie, OR was close behind with rent climbing 14.4% since this time last year.
– Happy Valley, OR rent was the third fastest growing, climbing 13.2% compared to last year.
Fastest Growing (M/M%)
– Oregon City, OR had the fastest growing rent since last month, up 5.5%.
– Happy Valley, OR followed closely behind with a 5.3% monthly growth rate.
– Lake Oswego & Tigard, OR rents tied for third fastest growing, both climbing 4.2% since last month.
