Los Angeles Metro Report: July 2019

The Zumper Los Angeles Metro Report analyzed active listings in June 2019 across 22 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The California state median was $1,777 last month.

Cities Ranked By Rent

Le plus cher

Santa Monica, CA was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $3,500.

Glendale, CA saw rent drop $80 to $2,300 but remain the second priciest city.

Los Angeles, Californie stayed as third, though rent grew $20 to $2,230.

Le moins cher

Pomona, CA continued to rank as the most affordable with rent at $1,310.

Lynwood, CA ranked as the second least expensive with one bedrooms priced at $1,350.

Bellflower, CA saw rent drop $40 to $1,400 but remain third.

Growth Rate

Baldwin Park, CA had the fastest growing rent, up 10.8% since this time last year.

Downey, CA followed closely behind with rent climbing 10.7%.

Culver City, CA rent had the third largest year over year growth rate, jumping 9.7%.
