Coming ahead of Pittsburgh, Gilbert, and Raleigh, Austin ranked as the 33rd most expensive rental market in the nation this month. The price of one bedroom units remained flat at $1,050, while two bedrooms grew a slight 0.8% to $1,340.
Rosewood and Windsor Road had the fastest growing rents this quarter, both up over 9%.
Adjacent Downtown Austin ($1,990), East Cesar Chavez ($1,650), and Holly ($1,600) were the most expensive neighborhoods to rent this spring. Moving to the northern portion of the map, Hyde Park, Triangle State, and and Rosedale were more affordable areas priced closer to the $1,000 range.
