The Zumper Austin Metro Report analyzed active listings in May across 13 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents.

Brushy Creek, TX ranked as the most expensive city in the metro to rent. One bedroom units were priced as $1,110 this month.

Hutto, TX ranked as second with rent at $1,060.

Austin, Texas followed closely behind as third with rent at $1,050.

Le moins cher

San Marcos, TX ranked as the most affordable city with rent at $850.

Wells Branch, TX had the second least expensive rent with one bedroom units priced at $910.

Buda, TX followed closely behind with rent at $930.

Growth Rate

Hutto, TX rent had the largest yearly growth rate, climbing 14%.

Kyle, TX had the next fastest growing rent, up 8.4% since this time last year.

Pflugerville, TX ranked as third with a 6.3% yearly growth rate.
