This has by far been the best apartment complex I have lived in. The area is wonderful and close to everything. I walk to Sprouts and the mall's luxury theater often. The management are so friendly and welcoming and attend to needs immediately. The community of residents are all wonderful. The amenities are also really nice. The apartment itself is fully updated and even has crown molding. I love the granite countertops in both the kitchen and bathroom and it is so easy to keep clean. The floor plan is perfect and optimizes space making the apartment looking much bigger. I get compliments on it all the time. I definitely recommend the Bluffs - you get luxury at the best best price in Carlsbad.

I've lived here for 2 years and absolutely loved it. The apartments are awesome, with upgraded features like crown molding and granite counter tops. They keep the grounds very clean and the pool was newly remodeled. The entire staff is super nice and helpful. The best value for being so close to the beach.

I currently reside in the Bluffs. I'm a young female Marine and I'm yet to find a better place in this area that offers comparable location/price/quality. The single bedroom units appear small but it is the perfect size for one or a couple to live. I've had up to five guests at a time visit and they fit fine. The bedroom very comfortably fits even a king sized bed and the walk in closet fits more clothes than one person should have, plus all of my hockey and Marine gear, ironing board, full length mirror etc. The renovations are new and look very good; particularly the hard wood floors, wall paint, marble kitchen counter top and stainless/black fridge, oven, (huge) dish washer. There is no air conditioning (window breezes are great) or in-unit washer/dryer, but my energy bill is a whopping $15 so that makes up for it. There is a laundry facility attached to the end of the units and the machines are very large and cheaper than most laundromats. The porch area is big enough for a bench. small table, etc. The landscaping is probably my favorite part; there is a lot of grass, trees and flowers in a shared court yard and it really makes the place look like home over complexes that are all concrete and parking lots. Plumbed in gas grills are in the court yards as well. The gym is awesome with a multi-purpose Technogym machine, free weights, mats, tread mills, resistance bikes, mirror and a nifty projector that plays yoga/pilate/lifting classes. The pool area, hot tub, tennis courts and lounge area are also very nice. The only cons are a few maintenance issues as I moved in but those were resolved quickly. The maintenance caretaker and staff are very friendly, quick to assist you and always seem flexible to come in off hours. I hardly hear the resident above me but like all apartment complexes, you'll have to be aware of your noise. I had some renovation left-overs (glue residue) but a simple clean up before I moved my stuff in sufficed. I also wish there were recycling bins, but there are centers all over the place. Overall great place and people!
