We love this place. This is the ideal apartment that you can possibly ask for. There is no noisy neighbor; Florence St is quite; and it’s only 3-min walk to the T. The apartment is new and clean. Our unit is huge:) The leasing manager Nika is kind and professional. The maintainance manager Bruse is friendly and reliable. Even the cleaning staff is nice. We love this place. We’ve been living here for 4 years without a single complaint. Wish we could live here forever but have to move because of work :(
And we got all our deposit back.
Attaching picture from the last day. Miss you already😭
We've been living here for almost 2 years. This is an amazing apartment complex! The management and maintenance team is extremely responsive and eager to fix all issues asap. The apartments are nice, spacious and cozy, and the building is clean and well-maintained. There is a spacious parking lot just near the building. The neighborhood is also very quiet and safe. We thoroughly enjoy living here!

I really enjoyed living here (39 Florence) for the past four years. First, the staff here are amazing - Nika, Bruce, and the cleaning staff are always so friendly and helpful! I could stop by the building manager Nika’s office when she is there and talk to her. She really takes the time to listen to me and respond to my questions/needs. Nika also quickly responds to emails. The maintenance manager Bruce is so professional and efficient. While I did not have much maintenance requests, whenever I had any request, Bruce always got them done within 24 hours. He always explains (or leaves a note if I was not there) the problem and how he solved it. The cleaning staff is there everyday, including weekends, to help make our community clean. I enjoyed my new and clean studio, its big walk-in closet and in unit laundry, the gym, the rooftop, and the big mail room (I never lost a package for the past four years). Last but not the least, we have community events every month, and there are pets, ice creams, friends, and more. It is sad that I have to move out because of schooling at another state, but I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I've been living at RAMS for four years and have had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, with numerous restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The T station is right next to the building, making it ideal for commuters. The apartments are clean and spacious, and the large windows are one of my favorite features. Most importantly, the leasing and maintenance staff are outstanding! They are always friendly, professional, and helpful. A special thank you to Nika, Bruce, and Jade for making my time here so enjoyable!
Living in this apartment was truly an unforgettable experience, and we can’t say enough good things about the incredible team, the amazing community, and the overall environment that made it feel like home.
The maintenance manager, Bruce Nash, is hands down THE BEST we’ve ever encountered. From day one, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Not only did he help us put up our bed canopy (see photo below) and take it down later, but he also installed a large, very heavy mirror with precision and care. He also helped touch up some paint in the apartment to keep it looking perfect. What really stood out was when Bruce kindly offered us some free paint to use whenever we wanted for touch-ups—where else would you find that level of thoughtfulness? He was also always incredibly prompt in responding to maintenance requests. We never had to follow up or send reminders—he stayed on top of everything and took charge with confidence. When we moved out, he even helped us uninstall our canopy and curtain rods. No building offers the kind of generosity and care that Bruce brought every day.
The management team is equally amazing—friendly, approachable, and on your side. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents and go out of their way to make you feel supported.
The residents in this community are wonderful, too. Everyone is polite, respectful, and never disruptive. It was a pleasure to live among such considerate neighbors. On top of that, the building regularly organizes fun activities and events, often providing free food to bring the community together. These little touches truly made this place special.
I’d also like to highlight the exceptional quality of this building. The soundproofing is outstanding—I was able to practice my violin and piano regularly without worrying about disturbing the neighbors, as the noise barely carries between apartments.
We miss this apartment SO much—we sincerely hope we can return soon to experience it again. Thank you for everything, Bruce and Nika!!

My husband and I really really enjoyed living here for the past three years and now we have to temporarily move to another state. I could say RAMS is definitely a secret gem — it has the best living quality with relatively lower pricing compared to neighboring apartment buildings. The building manager Nika and maintenance Bruce are the best, they are always friendly, helpful and quickly respond to every question or needs you might have. They’ll come up with occasional community events where you might get free food or ice cream :) I’ve never lost a single package or food delivery all these years, the hallway areas were cleaned everyday, and there were very few maintenance request needed. During the pandemic, I’ve had so many joy looking out my bedroom window — I have frequent visitors of squirrels, birds, mourning doves, rabbits, and occasional hawks. It’s so hard to say goodbye to this place. 100% recommend to everyone.
After touring and comparing most Malden apartments, I decided to live at Residences at Malden Station (39 Florence). It was one of the best decisions I have made.
Yes, there were other fancier/cheaper alternatives, but in terms of money for value, RAMS was undoubtedly the best.
0. Price and value
I took over someone else's lease. Half year later he told me he regretted it and asked me to inform him when I would leave. His new place had many separate charges, mounting to hundreds on top of rent:
hot water, sewer, garbage cost...
My energy bills were low too: 10+ during spring/fall, 30+ during winter; heat was included and I only paid for the fan to run.
1. Amenities
Enjoy bigger actual space for living, or pay big for shared common places rarely used, like other apartments? The club room and gym in RAMS were good enough for me; I did not want to share the cost of a whole floor worth of rent for common places I rarely visit, particularly during the pandemic. But the roof top is free for a great view!
2. Big window with north side sunshine and Mountain View
I had more than enough natural lighting in my room facing NORTH. The view outside my window changed over seasons and was soothing.
3. Close to T, good for winter commute
I waited inside the RAMS hallway warm, instead of shivering on the T platform, until last minute to catch the train-- rarely missed, during harsh Boston winter. The T did not bother me at all when I kept my windows closed.
4. Community of many families and hi-tech professionals, quiet
They could easily afford to buy a condo or house, but still lived here. A peaceful community.
5. Big actual living space
I was able to put TWO full size beds in my bedroom still with extra space, and a huge walk in closet that can fit another twin bed. The living room was also huge. My 1b1b had incredibly good layout.
6. The top notch maintenance with faith
Our maintenance folk did not talk much, but got things done in a matter of minutes. He went to church every Sunday and still responded during weekends.
7. Best of best leasing office
The staffs were friendly, caring, responsive and reasonable. A team of professionals you can count on.
8. Clean, clean, clean!
I saw cleaning crews almost everyday and every weekend. Trash room, common places, hallways, glass doors, elevators were always kept clean.
9. Security
The gated community with cameras always gave me peace of mind.
10. Bike room
Malden was very bike-able. I was able to put two bikes in the bike room and rode to the nearby lake and park.

I have spent almost 4 years at this apartment (39 Florence) and this is definitely a place I would recommend! The neighborhood is great, with 2mins walk to orange line station (close but without being bothered by the noise), quite a few dining/delivery options, as well as various grocery stores, bakeries and coffeehouses. It's definitely a convenient place to live.
The part that I like the most about this apartment is the utility cost. I personally like a high indoor temperature in the winter. This apartment is so efficiently designed that I can enjoy the cozy temp without worrying about the bill at all. Parking fee is also fairly reasonable compared to other apartments in the neighborhood.
The management team here is the most responsible I have met so far - Nika has always been there for any question/help we need! Maintenance requests are also well handled.
Definitely worth checking out if considering living arrangement in Malden!
