Large, warm, beautiful three bedroom Craftsman house to share with me on a charming walk street about a half block from the sand of Venice Beach. I wind up seeing my current housemate very infrequently. I live in the master suite, and I give the housemate the two smaller bedrooms (which have a second front door leading to the front porch and garden), so it's almost like you have your own apartment inside the house. I don't want to live with two other people, just one person please. You can use one of the rooms as a bedroom, one as a study or whatever you want. The house is about mid-way between Snap and Google. It's perfect for surfers because you can leave your boards on the side of the house. I am a quiet professional person and I'm looking for someone similar. No smokers or pets. You couldn't ask for a better location. The house is steps from Venice Beach, the bike path along the beach, the boardwalk, the world-famous shopping and restaurant district Abbot-Kinney, the shops and restaurants along Main Street and Lincoln, and easy to bike to Santa Monica. It costs $150 a month. Transportation: There are electric scooters all around. There's a Breeze (Hulu) bike hub a couple blocks away. It's an easy bike ride along the bike path right next to the beach (about 15 minutes) to the Blue Line Metro, which will take you downtown and to other metro stops. Uber and Lyft pick up in the alley behind the house. You can ride the bike path all the way from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach. The Neighborhood: The house is well-located on the famous walk streets on the preferable side of North Venice Beach. It's an easy walking distance (about fifteen minutes) from some of LA's best restaurants such as The Tasting Kitchen and Gjelina. Some of LA's finest shopping is on Abbot Kinney (about fifteen minutes walk), with a mix of big designers and eclectic, curated goods. There's an airstream trailer converted into a coffee shop a block away. The famous boardwalk of Venice Beach a block away. Venice Art Crawl and flea market and farmers market, all walking distance.
