This is a beautiful community in a great location. It is nestled within walking distance of the YMCA, Krogers and a Parkview Physicians Group. I highly recommend calling Erin a taking a tour you will not be disappointed.

Our experience here has been 5 stars ! Jo the property manager is an absolute peach! She has been so accommodating while my dad was finishing his hospitalization and transitioning from rehab to his new home. The place is always spotless and smells amazing! She organizes all kinds of events and activities for the residents. We’re so excited to have my dad closer to us and apart of a community!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! As a former resident, I HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere. The site staff is deceptive, rude, condescending, and unempathetic. When trying to escalate issues with the property owner/management company in Indianapolis, you can add unresponsive and evasive to the above behavior. I was living there M-F (to maintain employment as my job had moved from Michigan) and on weekends, commuted back to my house in Michigan to take care of an elderly parent. Prior to signing the lease, I was unsure if the situation would be sustainable and asked the site manager at the time, Erin, about early lease termination fees should my situation become unmanageable. She assured me that if I had to terminate the lease early, my situation would be considered a hardship and the penalty fees waived. When signing the lease, the early termination fee of 1 month’s rent ($1630 for a 2 bedroom in January 2024) was stated in the contract. When I questioned Erin about the verbiage and how it contradicted her “assurance” she said hardships like mine occur occasionally and the fee would be waived. Admittedly, it’s my fault as I didn’t insist on getting that in writing. Erin separated from 41 North about 2 months into my living there. I gave the required one month notice and terminated the lease on May 31, 2024. I was assessed the early termination fee. After calling the vp of asset management, Nina, 6 times over three weeks and not receiving a response, I reached out to Ronda, the president and owner of the company. Surprisingly, she responded. She stated that my situation doesn’t meet their criteria for waiver of the early termination fee and wished me “all the best” with my situation. They were deceptive as their website clearly stated in a FAQ (screenshot attached) from February 7 (that they created and published) on their website that basic WiFi was included in the utilities. After moving in, I asked Erin for a modem from Frontier Cable to enable the WiFi. After two weeks, I was told I was mistaken about the WiFi as the unit is WiFi ready and had to pay for my own. I'm glad I took the screen shot because their website was revised prior to their response and the FAQ section was removed. I was told that if I wanted to talk with someone about the WiFi that I was to call Nina at their HQ and given her phone number. For three weeks, she would not return my multiple calls even though I physically talked with her admin and left her vm. After three weeks, she tells me that I was mistaken and that as a result of "my misunderstanding” they would give me a one time $200 credit. At that time, you could only get Frontier cable’s WiFi which was $67/month and required a one year agreement. I ended up getting wireless T-Mobile WiFi for $30/month, which worked great as there is a cell tower within 100 feet of the building. Let’s highlight the unit. The layout looks good. However, there isn’t a food pantry. Rather, there are useless shelves in the hallway leading from the kitchen to the bedroom. The washer is not a high efficiency unit. Natural gas is not available. The dryer is electric as is the water heater, stove and furnace. Since electricity is not included and the tenant is responsible for it, it’s no wonder why they have electric appliances, furnace and water heater. It's VERY expensive. Walls are paper thin. Frequently in senior living places, the tenants have the TV volume high. I could hear the TV from a neighbor 3 doors down on the other side! The coat closet is small and shallow as is the closet in the second bedroom. The shower rod is 6 inches too high as there is a gap between the shower curtain and basin. When I asked to have the rod lowered, I was told that it was the same height as all the rest of the units and they wouldn't move it. Further, I was not allowed to lower the rod myself. No garages. I have had a terrible experience with the apartment complex due to the people that run it. I would give it zero stars if I could. Please consider what I’ve stated and look elsewhere.
