Heating the pool and hot tub is solar during the spring, summer and fall months, with a natural gas pool heater as needed. The yard meanders its way across the pool and BBQ area to the grass and upper garden. The bluff / hill which is another garden in itself and there are concrete steps all the way down. One of our favorite places is the patio down a few steps where you look out over the city but fell like you are in the tree tops as the birds migrate through Neary Lagoon. It is all maintained for you. Once a week we have the landscaper work on the yard, and bluff / hill to keep it in great shape for you to enjoy. The pool and hot tub will also be maintained and is included in the rent. The garden and yard will be maintained by the professional landscapers and the owners. This property is in the Santa Cruz City limits and has many good public schools within walking distance. The Pacific Ocean is a 5 minute bike ride away. If you like to surf or want to learn how, that is no problem as you have a learning surfing break and then more advanced surf breaks all within five to ten minutes on a bicycle. If it's just the beach you want, that's also within five minutes on a bike. Downtown Santa Cruz is within a five minute bike ride away. Walking is also a great option. Spend the evening downtown Santa Cruz and walk home at the end of the evening after a wonderful dinner or many other experiences that downtown Santa Cruz has to offer.
