Location - Outstanding, next to everything you'd need in town, quiet neighborhood, near biking/walking trails Exterior- Building is fine, plenty of parking, no place for bikes, whole place is surrounded by dead ash trees Interior- Well built, quiet units, appliances all run well, AC is outdated- but gets the job done, nice patio space (no grills allowed even though we could originally), plenty of square footage Amenities - 1. Laundry is downstairs and is the most I've ever paid for a single load. The room didn't get cleaned for over a year because the new cleaners didn't have a key to get in. 2. The gym at the Lakeshore building is average - most things you would need are there, but sometimes broken 3. Pool - super nice, my favorite thing about here Maintenance- We only had one call when our disposal started flooding and it was quickly fixed. Pest Control - They come quarterly(?) to do check-ups. However, we had a bed bug problem that lasted from Sept '21-July '22 when we left. It was incredibly frustrating. Not sure if it was an us problem, Diam, or management problem, but in our new home we have no bugs so I'm so thankful they didn't travel with us! Management - Bill and Marjean were awesome when we moved in and then it switched over to Hubbel and it was meh. Communication is ok, phone calls were always sent to a call center and then redirected back to the office. Rates- We paid a flat $820 when we moved in and about $20 in utilities. When we moved out it was at $820 + $160 in utilities. Neighbors- Everyone was kind, quiet, and helped out if you needed it :) Overall - wouldn't do it again, but it met our needs

I hated to move from this place. I loved it very quiet. Safe. Parking ok . Close to gas stations and target & Walmart and interstate. Management was good from beginning to end even with change in between. Good for students or retirees. Tenants kind of mind their own business but friendly.
