Home Birchwood

Located in the scenic town of Grand Marais on the shore of Lake Superior, Birchwood Apartments has 2&3-bedroom units open to people of all ages. Rent is based on 30% gross monthly household income. Rent ranges from $0-1576. Heat, water, sewer, and garbage are included in the rent. Other amenities include off-street parking, on-site laundry, lawncare, and snow removal. Rental Assistance may be available for qualified applicants. Income guidelines apply for residence qualification. In the summer of 2024, multiple apartments were newly renovated, and in 2025 the remaining apartments along with the common areas and exterior of the property will be renovated! Tenants will not be required to move during the renovation. It is estimated that each apartment will only be disrupted for a 2-week period.
