About Exposition Building
Exposition Building was originally constructed around the turn of the 20th century (1900) as a hotel for the World's Fair that took place in 1900 at Audubon Park. a back staircase that leads to the attic where the clothes were dried and the original intercom system (pairs of connected tubes) are still in place. At some point after the World's Fair it was converted to apartments and has stayed that way since. It features great views of Audubon Park and of the Zoo.
