It is a very charming building and the apartments are just as charming! These studio apartments DO NOT FEEL like studio apartments! They are enormous! Apartments have either beige wall to wall carpeting or hardwood floors throughout the entire apartment! The apartments have a ton of character! This is not your ordinary box apartment! There are tons of built-in shelves in the living room! Living rooms also have cute built-in fireplace (decorative)! There are a lot of windows in the kitchen, living room, very light and bright, HUGE walk in closet in the living room! The kitchen has a partition between the appliances and where you would put a table and chairs and because of the partition, most of our tenants put their bed in the kitchen and turn it into a bedroom. Kind of hard to explain, but makes total sense when you see the layout. It's like getting a one bedroom apartment for the price of a studio. The building has coin operated laundry and storage lockers in the basement, bike parking/storage in basement. Tons of street parking and IT IS NOT PERMIT PARKING! NO RESTRICTIONS! Located on the Pitt/CMU bus lines (shuttle across the street) and main City of Pittsburgh bus lines. Walking distance to Walnut Street Shopping area. 0.1 miles to GetGo gas station (& convenience store) 0.2 miles to Chipotle 0.2 miles to Einstein Bros. Tudor Hall is named for its beautiful Tudor style architecture. They are very charming apartments with decorate fireplaces, built in shelving, and walk-in closets. It features all studios and one bedrooms. In prime ShadySide location it is walking distance to CMU campus and Shadyside hospital. Also close to West Penn Hospital and all of Oakland. Perfect for people without cars since it’s on the university shuttle and city bus lines, even though the street parking is free with no restrictions!
