Patty the on-site manager is well into her 70s and has been managing apartments for over 50 years. It shows, and it's past time for her to retire. Like a typical Boomer, she has absolutely no compassion or empathy for anyone. She asks how you're doing, but if you respond with anything less than "good" or "great," she's dismissive and passive-aggressive. She was passive-aggressive in most of my interactions with her over the course of 4 years living in these apartments, and with The Rants Group pressuring me to leave under threat of eviction and resulting in my becoming homeless, good riddance. Andy the maintenance man is also old as dirt and needs to retire - he's a great guy and he does good work, but how much longer does he have? He is worked way too hard in a complex that is falling apart due to outdated wiring and fixtures, and cheapskate management resulting in brand-new fixtures breaking almost immediately (namely kitchen sinks).
