We lived in a Casa Madrid townhome apartment for just a few months (April - July 31, 2023). This place was like a peace resort compared to our previous residence. The neighbors are really special. We've never lived in a community so friendly before. Some of our amazing neighbors even baked us chocolate chip cookies to welcome us ❤️. Melissa is amazing. She's the complex manager and she's very knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and super friendly. Edwin is pretty awesome as well. He's the maintenance professional/groundskeeper. I only had a few interactions with him but each was friendly and professional. The corporate side seems good. We knew there was a good possibility we wouldn't be staying long (we moved in hoping to buy a house soon after) so we appreciated the option to break the lease. We ended up using this option when opportunities presented themselves for a new life on the east coast. I wish the fee would be refunded if the unit was quickly re-rented. I think the only real eek about the complex is something most communities with shared laundry units deal with: gross washers. People use the wrong detergent or too much, especially powder and waxy products, causing build-up that results in slimy water that persists for several washes. (At least I hope that's the cause lol.) Until the last week (or so) of our stay, notices saying the laundry units would be upgraded soon were up... no dates were listed though. It would be really nice if notices like this only went up when the work was scheduled. I wish the powers-that-be would consider installing in-unit ventless washer and dryer combo machines instead (ventless so modifications for venting wouldn't be necessary and combo instead of stacked because the space above the machine would be usable) -- having the units installed in each apartment would not only be an amazing convenience for renters, it would also limit the aftermath of improper use to those doing it. Our car was broken into while parked in our assigned carport space shortly after we moved in (no sign of forced entry so maybe we left it unlocked). It was tossed and several small items were stolen. To be clear, this is not the fault of the complex -- some people just suck. But what would have been really helpful is if CCTV/security cameras were setup at least in the carport areas and the entry points for the complex. Overall I would give this complex more than 5 stars if I could because of the friendly neighbors and staff we had the pleasure of meeting. Living in a community with so many beautiful people even for just a few months was a really nice experience.

The place will not take care of you, the property managers will try to take advantage of your security deposit. Please be careful, since they went under new management they have been aweful. I have lived there for multiple years and all they do is increase rent and not take care of you.
