I lived here for almost 3 years, and generally had very few issues living here. Good things about the complex: 1. Maintenance was generally very good, and responded quickly. 2. Decent for the price. 3. Hot water and water pressure was great. 4. My move-in and move-out process was really easy. My ongoing issues with the complex: 1. The laundry room was very filthy. Especially the last 5 months, the laundry room would flood with ~1" of soapy water. I put in maintenance requests twice, not sure that it ever got fixed. 2. Roaches. I would see them just wandering around outside my unit, even on the sidewalk. Frequently I would see them inside my unit. 3. I generally felt unsafe. The dumpsters were in a pretty sketchy back alley. I never had any safety issues, but I definitely never felt at ease when I was outside of my unit. 4. The walls are so thin. I could hear my neighbor literally laugh or snore at night.

Absolutely terrible place to live. You will never get anything fixed, and if you do it will be shoddy, dangerous work that was only achieved after endless maintenance requests. The grounds are poorly kept and the over watering of the lawns creates flooding and attracts bugs. Which then attracts birds, which means bird droppings everywhere that are never cleaned. Staff are never here because there is no bathroom in their office so you'll see them to come show a unit and then never again. The only regular occurrence is noisy leaf blowers that pump gasoline into your apartment and trash into the grass that they don't pick up. Currently there is the face plate of an air conditioning unit and a bucket just sitting on the ground. People leave trash on the ground all the time. The "groundskeeper" is a sketchy guy who lives in his sketchy van who comes only every once in a while to replace the overflowing dog waste containers. It's not uncommon for you to lose water, or cooling/heat, or for something else essential to break down. You will be informed of this after you already know about it and management will drag their feet to fix it. Be prepared to go weeks without water, weeks without air conditioning, weeks without an oven, weeks without electricity. They'll make decrees and threats from on high but will never answer your questions. You might as well write a letter and throw it straight into the trash. It's a dangerous neighborhood and management doesn't care. Several of my neighbors regularly had their cars and homes broken into. It took neighbors constantly calling the management company to get security lights set up and many of them broke within the year without being fixed. Everything is pinned on residents, they will not admit fault for anything. There is one apartment that floods almost every year. Several people have moved out because all their possessions were damaged. This is a plumbing issue management refuses to fix. Dishwashers will back up leaving sewage to sit in pools or sinks to clog. They won't fix it. It's becoming more and more common for people to break their lease because people can't stand to live here. I'll be leaving too. If you want to spend your hard earned money living in a slum you couldn't pick a better place. It's negligence to the point of malice.
