I absolutely hate leaving this apartment. Avalon 850 is a pristine, beautiful, resort-like community. The apartments are large, spacious and beautiful appointed with tile, stone and natural wood textures. The bathrooms are like 5star hotels. The staff is fantastic, especially Jen who has been incredibly patient and helpful.

If you’re looking for a place to live, look no further, Avalon 850 Boca is perfect for families or just yourself. Make sure you ask to speak to Heather. Heather was so attentive, friendly and answered all of the questions I had. The move in process was quick and the apartment was clean upon moving in. I noticed one of my floor boards were loose and the maintenance staff was there immediately to attend to it. The customer service I received from Heather and Vicky was impeccable.

We moved to Avalon 850 Boca 2 months ago, after living in Bay Harbor Islands, FL. We wanted to live in Boca Proper and decided that we wanted an apartment complex that was pet friendly, had great floor plans and amenities and seemed well maintained. After taking tours at several complexes downtown and in West Boca, we made an appointment to tour a 2 bedroom at Avalon 850 Boca. Our first impressions when driving through the complex to the leasing office were that the grounds were well manicured and the buildings looked well maintained with at least two maintenance golf-carts driving around (that's good sign of responsiveness to us). We were kindly greeted by a Sandy E. who was doing an excellent job of efficiently multi-tasking to greet us, take care of a current resident who came in to make a service request (whom she seemed to recognize and greet even more kindly), all while she was helping a couple get more information on the complex and getting another ready for a self-guided tour. Sandy's professionalism, efficiency and kindness was already creating differentiation from the leasing agents we met at the other complexes. To contrast this, it just so happened that on the very same day at another prominent Boca apartment complex, we went into the leasing office where the assistant manager (name badge) and another employee were sitting around a computer in the office and when we "interrupted" them because no one was acknowledging our entry, the assistant manager said, "there is no-one here who can tell you about the apartments today, you'll need to come back". "No-one?", I said, Aren't you the manager?" Yes, we just left. Not a great experience and guess what...we didn't go back! So, watching Sandy courteously and efficient handle 6 people (2 couples and 2 individuals) when the other complex's manager couldn't pull herself or the other person away to gives us a brochure, made a huge positive impression on us right out of the gate. After our tour we decided that we had found our new home and Sandy seemed as excited for us, as we were, even introducing us to one of the maintenance guys, when he came in. We really appreciated the warm welcome, before we had even finished any paperwork. Longer story short, we've lived here now for 2 months (signed a 14 month lease). We love the location (tree-covered sidewalks in a safe, quite area), we've met several neighbors and their pets. Our apartment has a great design and layout (2 bed corner with large balconies) and it sometimes feels like a resort just sitting around the pool area and walking the grounds - the pool area is huge, with great sitting areas, a clubhouse and grills - absolutely the best in Boca). As well, all of the employees that we've met have been friendly (Thank you, Sandy for making us feel at home, even checking in on us after we moved in). Any maintence request has been taken care of extremely quickly and to our satisfaction (Thanks Henry for explaining how you were repairing/adjusting the items that we requested & for giving me some great tips about places to ride on my motorcycle!). Our only wish is that the COVID pandemic would end, because we have heard that the social events put on by the staff prior to COVID were some of the best events for the community. Looking forward to those in the future. :-) We also love the improvements that the community keeps adding, like the Latch locks on the doors and buildings (use your phone or digital watch to open). The gym is well appointed and while I think it is the 2nd best Apartment complex gym behind Uptown Boca, it just adds to the complete package of amenities at Avalon 850. We believe you find what you expect to find anywhere you live, but people make the difference when amenities are the same or a trade-off between one property or another. So thank you to the people at Avalon 850 Boca for making us feel at home and a special "thank you" to Sandy E. for the great first impression that invited us in to learn more!
