The Williams is a 52,000-square-foot, four-story historic building featuring 29 brand-new apartments built inside the former W.J. Williams YMCA in East Walnut Hills. Charles Cellarius designed this outstanding example of early twentieth-century Tudor Revival architecture with limestone trim and a slate roof expressed in an institutional building, completed in 1930. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and designated a Local Historic Landmark in 2016. Floor plans include new granite countertops, hardwood, concrete and carpeted flooring, and stainless steel energy-efficient appliances, as well as original features such as 15-20 foot ceilings, tall sun filled windows, decorative fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and a swimming pool with two apartments built inside. An outdoor rooftop area offers relative quiet, extensive views of surrounding neighborhoods, and a southern glimpse of northern Kentucky. Off-street parking for tenants.
